Final build.

For the cube and the sphere I created an illusion that they are occupying the same space. I cut out two sections of a cardboard box, and slid two acrylic mirrors into the box at an angle. On one side of the acrylic mirror I attached half a sphere and on the other I attached half a cube. This gives the illusion that these shapes occupy the same space. On the right It seems as if there is a floating sphere. When you walk to the other side there is a floating cube. The mirror gives the illusions of a duality in space with these to basic shapes.
